The Law and Policy Committee will hold a committee meeting on November 9, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. The committee will meet to discuss and determine recommendations to make to the full Commission and the public can both listen and participate in the committee proceedings. 1. Public Comment for items not on the agenda.

2. Approval of September 2023 minutes.

3. Potential Regulation Projects in 2024. Staff: General Counsel Dave Bainbridge. Staff will present potential regulation projects for 2024 to be considered by the Commission at the November Commission meeting.

4. Legislative Proposal for 2024. Staff: Lindsey Nakano, Senior Legislative Counsel, presents legislation ideas from FPPC staff. These ideas are presented to the Commission for discussion and feedback and for direction on which ideas to pursue as potential sponsored legislation.

5. Discussion of items for the next Committee meeting. Committee members and staff will discuss proposed agenda items for the next committee meeting.
